We hope you are feeling well and are ready for the weekend! 😎
Each morning we will post a daily breakdown of activities we are setting for year 4 that are learning from home.
All work that is set reflects what we are learning in class as we are still following the year 4 curriculum.
Spellings:
Please refer to the blog post before Christmas. You will find a list of Y3/4 spellings. Please conduct a spelling test of 10 words.
Guided Reading:
Yesterday you will have answered questions on chapter 1 of the book that was set on Purple Mash.
Today please take time to read a book you enjoy! 📚 make sure you keep writing in your reading diary all the reads you have completed!
Maths:
Please complete one activity on ActiveLearn every day. We have allocated a few activities to choose from. Please use TTRockstars to practise your times tables.
Foundation: The 1960s:
Yesterday you should have completed another 1960s task!
Today you need to complete another activity that explores the 1960s. Please see Year 4 Home Learning Week 1 blog post to see the activities you can choose from.
There is:
1. Creating a front cover.
2. Price comparison maths
3. Filling in the KWL grid that will show you how much you have learnt about the 1960s this week!
4. PopArt
We have already seen some wonderful PopArt from some of you! 😎
We will post a daily breakdown of work at 8.00am each morning. A weekly blog will be posted to show an overview of the week too on each Monday morning at 8.00am.
